For several years youth and adult groups have traveled to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota to work with the Re-Member organization in supporting the families of the Lakota People.  The county in which Pine Ridge is located is the poorest in the nation with all the attendant social problems.  

 

Our Re-Member teams help the Pine Ridge people by constructing necessary living structures, including straw-bale mud homes at the Henry Red Cloud center.  

 

These summer mission trips are life-changing for our team members and we learn much from the wonderful people of the Lakota Nation.
